“Learn to like what doesn't cost much.
Learn to like reading, conversation, music.
Learn to like plain food, plain service, plain cooking.
Learn to like fields, trees, brooks, hiking, rowing, climbing hills.
Learn to like people, even though some of them may be different...different from you.
Learn to like to work and enjoy the satisfaction doing your job as well as it can be done.
Learn to like the song of birds, the companionship of dogs.
Learn to like gardening, puttering around the house, and fixing things.
Learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter day.
Learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.”

Kate Renee

This may seem creepy, but anyone who doesn't know this girl needs to.
So here she is.
Kate Renee. Only one of my 7 best friends/allies/buds.

How you might ask, was I introduced to such a gem of a gal?
Pre-school. I punched the girl who was rude to her.
Auto-matic friendship? Obviously.
Since the age of 3, we have been peas in a pod.

I ate Cheetos from her couch cushions,
She convinced me to play with mama's make-up.

I ditched her almost every weekend,
or made her the 3rd wheel.
But she forgave me.

She shoved a cupcake in my face,
and mocked my large ears.
But I forgave her.

We share music, which is probably illegal.
We make forts and have sleepovers.
We talk in stupid voices.
We make treats,
and try to exercise.
We joke.
We laugh.
We cry.
We play.

We're moving out next year,
with the other sister wives.
Roommates!

(Notice how "we" doesn't seem like a real word,
because of the over usage.)

Moral of the story?
I'd rather be best friends with Kate,
than date Ryan Gosling.

WOW.
That's some serious friendship right thur.
