“Learn to like what doesn't cost much.
Learn to like reading, conversation, music.
Learn to like plain food, plain service, plain cooking.
Learn to like fields, trees, brooks, hiking, rowing, climbing hills.
Learn to like people, even though some of them may be different...different from you.
Learn to like to work and enjoy the satisfaction doing your job as well as it can be done.
Learn to like the song of birds, the companionship of dogs.
Learn to like gardening, puttering around the house, and fixing things.
Learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter day.
Learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.”

Typical

Good news. My siblings are out of school. Which means lots more time for video games.

Video games? Really?
Yes, really. Little did you know, that I am quite the gamer.

Along with reading Pride and Prejudice (it's a work in progress), this is what my day looked like.

I play video games whilst wearing floral. Somewhat contradicting.

Love me some Halo Reach.
Just call me Master Chief.

Mittens

Well. I just fell out of the blogosphere loop for about a month.
But thats okay. Because I did some pretty splendid stuff in that month.

We visited Adam on his birthday.

I snuggled with my kitty.

I cleaned my room ever so beautifully.
But sadly it doesn't stay this way for over a week.

Organized my closet...

Found out I have a ridiculous obsession with blue and yellow.

Also yellow bags.

I stepped on Alese's perfectly vacuumed floor. heh heh.

She was mad.

I got my book signed by the one and only CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI!!

(he's the author of these marvelous books)

Went to Megan's bridal shower. And only took one picture.
Naturally it had to do with Pride & Prejudice.
Ahhhhh. Sorry, but this was the most exciting thing at the bridal shower.
SWOONING.

Oh yes.
How can I forget.
I also got to see my bestest friends in the world.
I love them.
I'll post a picture.
IF I get them from Bro0oke.

Also... I BOUGHT MITTENS.
And for some strange reason, I went crazy with them.
I blame the dessert from Chilis at 10 pm. WAY too late for sugar.
And the fact that they are lined with wool from heaven. I'm sure of it.
It's softer than a newly born sheep (cause obviously I would know).

I made up several mitten dances,
one of which is titled "the mitten crotch grab."
Or the crowd pleaser "the mitten worm."
I played mittens with Kate.
I wore mittens for over an hour. While inside Adams house.
And danced to Shakira.

You just had to be there.
And be on a sugar high.
And have your own mittens.

So as you can see, my month has been quite productive.
Even if I'll most likely fail my math class.
And barely pass my German course.
But honestly I could care less.
Because I'm happy.
Hollah! Hurray for happiness and ignorance.

Let's get Intimate.. But not really.

That's right. I'm following the crowd.
Posting 7 random, very censored, but still unique/embarrassing facts about myself
(cause that's what everyone does).
Hopefully these facts will be news to you.
If not, you definitely know me too well.
P.S. I was tagged by the beautiful Kelsey. Don't know her?
Then just stalk her.

  • UNO. I have conversations with a miniature me inside my head. But It's not a human version of me. It's me in Dr. Seuss form.
  • ZWEI. I have been using the same retainer since I got my braces out in 8th grade. It's super gross.
  • TROIS. Three nights ago I dreamt I was a baby mama for a girl in my math class. She told me today she might be pregnant.
  • FOUR. I like to pretend I live in a world in the times of Jane Austen. Ideal, my name would be Elizabeth Bennet, and my lover would be Mr. Darcy. It'd be a great story.
  • VIJF. My preferred exercise playlist (because obviously I exercise a lot. Pfft) consists of soundtrack music from the following major motion pictures: Gladiator, Avatar, Braveheart, Harry Potter, & Tangled.
  • SECHS. The BEST place for me to think is outside. In some scenic picture. Equipped with a sunset, some beautiful mountains, some Mindy Gledhill sounds and my scriptures.
  • 7. I have 7 best friends. And I love them all.
Oh. I'm tagging Kate, Kenna, Brooke, Ash, Lyss, Cailey, & Wyatt

Completely useless

1. Leaves changing colors makes me ridiculously giddy.
2. I listened to the Pride & Prejudice album while walking on campus.
3. Usually craving foods of sorts, today I was craving sweaters, scarves and boots.
4. I am ignoring the fact that my German verb quiz is tomorrow, and writing this instead.
5. I ate a delicious sandwich in the library today. That's not allowed in High School.
6. Rain is the most desired thing at the moment, in the life of Stacie.
7. My friends make me laugh. And I miss them like crazy (Lyss, Ash, Brooke, Cai, Kate (Bro0oke & Mego have disappeared off of the face of the earth))
8. I consumed a cup of fro-yo that was definitely more calories than my sandwich (gross).
9. I want to be hit on by a handsome man. Because i'm cute. But then he'll fall in love with me. Because i'm great.
10. Fake people make me angry. Are you seriously wearing booty shorts, a designer shirt and high-tops with your hair down? At the gym? Please. GO HOME, and stop trying to seduce people.
11. The sky today was incredibly beautiful. And no, I'm not blind, I know it was gray.
12. I've come to the conclusion that every girl deserves a man like Mr. Darcy.
13. Or Mr. Bingley. If you like the less witty men.
