“Learn to like what doesn't cost much.
Learn to like reading, conversation, music.
Learn to like plain food, plain service, plain cooking.
Learn to like fields, trees, brooks, hiking, rowing, climbing hills.
Learn to like people, even though some of them may be different...different from you.
Learn to like to work and enjoy the satisfaction doing your job as well as it can be done.
Learn to like the song of birds, the companionship of dogs.
Learn to like gardening, puttering around the house, and fixing things.
Learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter day.
Learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.”

Musically Inclined.

I am possibly, most likely, you can definitely bet on it,
deciding/declaring my major.
Let me tell you, I feel super great about it.
This is what it's called:

If you're confused, it's because you don't know:
 1. That I listen to music for the majority of my days.
2. It's been part of my identity since I was 5 years old.
3. It's one of the only things that can truly give me goose bumps.
4. It's my church calling, and I took it as a sign.
5. I feel that it's 100% right.

It's true, i'm not some crazy musician, and I only have 4,000 songs on my iPod.
But I don't care what anyone else thinks, because i'm going through with it.
I will be seeing my counselor this week.
Wish me luck.
