“Learn to like what doesn't cost much.
Learn to like reading, conversation, music.
Learn to like plain food, plain service, plain cooking.
Learn to like fields, trees, brooks, hiking, rowing, climbing hills.
Learn to like people, even though some of them may be different...different from you.
Learn to like to work and enjoy the satisfaction doing your job as well as it can be done.
Learn to like the song of birds, the companionship of dogs.
Learn to like gardening, puttering around the house, and fixing things.
Learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter day.
Learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.”

Truth? Or Truth Squared?

The Future. It's kind of a scary thing. No wait. It's super duper scary. Obviously on everyones mind, it turned our childish game of Truth or Dare into something much more serious: Deep thinking. We spilled out our souls. Shared our hopes and dreams, our worries and even some excitements. But if there's anything that I've learned in my life, it's not to set your hopes too high. Especially when they're based off of your plan. Not the Lords plan. Because it will only make you upset. I have dreams and goals, but those are different than plans. Plans are specific. Goals and dreams are safe.

One thing I can count on, and don't have to worry so much about, is this: My friends are the greatest. We'll be friends forever because of the memories we've made have bound us together.

We'll sing You & I at Megans Wedding, and buy her ridiculous lingerie.
We'll let Cailey experiment with our hair, even if it turns green.
We'll lecture Ashley about creeps every once and a while, Just in case she forgets Robyn's lecture. We'll write to Alyssa on her mission every month, and keep a watch on all of her cute men. We'll protect our little Brooke. Because she's so precious and deserves a perfect relationship. We'll visit Kate in her giant mansion in Cali., just so we can enjoy her spontaneous, one in a million personality. We'll set Bro0oke up on lots of dates with BYU men, because that's who'd be best.

All of this, we'll do, because we love each other. Holla at your girl?
No. Holla at your girls. I have 7 of them.
