“Learn to like what doesn't cost much.
Learn to like reading, conversation, music.
Learn to like plain food, plain service, plain cooking.
Learn to like fields, trees, brooks, hiking, rowing, climbing hills.
Learn to like people, even though some of them may be different...different from you.
Learn to like to work and enjoy the satisfaction doing your job as well as it can be done.
Learn to like the song of birds, the companionship of dogs.
Learn to like gardening, puttering around the house, and fixing things.
Learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter day.
Learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.”

Can you feel that?

There's something very special about the way music makes me feel. I don't think you can truly understand unless you're a music fanatic. And when I say music fanatic, I mean you'll give everything a shot. Every genre is considered. Playing music is something you enjoy. Analyzing music is something you enjoy even more. Trying to understand how the artist or the composer was feeling while writing the song is one of my favorite things to do. Some genres or artists have no feeling, and you can automatically tell while listening to them. I'll be honest. I don't know a lot about the technic of music. But I know enough. I know that I love the way it makes me feel. I love the way people can pull you into their situation by the lyrics they write, or the notes they combine. It's beautiful. And i'm completely obsessed.
Be Still My Soul. Verse 3. Brings tears to my eyes.

Be still my soul: The hour is hast'ning on.
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone;
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still my soul: When change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.
