“Learn to like what doesn't cost much.
Learn to like reading, conversation, music.
Learn to like plain food, plain service, plain cooking.
Learn to like fields, trees, brooks, hiking, rowing, climbing hills.
Learn to like people, even though some of them may be different...different from you.
Learn to like to work and enjoy the satisfaction doing your job as well as it can be done.
Learn to like the song of birds, the companionship of dogs.
Learn to like gardening, puttering around the house, and fixing things.
Learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter day.
Learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.”

Good News? Bad News?
Here's the deal.
It's my last day in Europe.
We're in Switzerland.
In a town on a cliff.
Called Muerren.
It's pouring rain outside,
but is still ridiculously gorgeous.
So here's my delema.
I'm super homesick.
But I absolutely love it here.
I'm tired of living out of a suitcase,
And sleeping in hotel beds.
But I might die without these fluffy, feather-filled comforters.
I miss my family like crazy.
Especially my sister.
But I cannot accept this place as a mere vacation spot.
The absence of my hilarious, sweetest, bestest friends is killing me.
But i'm so excited to give them their presents.
The only thing I don't miss from home,
Is the food.
Sweet Moses.
I have never eaten such delicious food in my life.
Pastries will definitely be the death of me.
As well as the warm fresh bread from the deli.
HEAVEN.
But until I have access to an actual computer,
I cannot post any pictures. Bummer.
