“Learn to like what doesn't cost much.
Learn to like reading, conversation, music.
Learn to like plain food, plain service, plain cooking.
Learn to like fields, trees, brooks, hiking, rowing, climbing hills.
Learn to like people, even though some of them may be different...different from you.
Learn to like to work and enjoy the satisfaction doing your job as well as it can be done.
Learn to like the song of birds, the companionship of dogs.
Learn to like gardening, puttering around the house, and fixing things.
Learn to like the sunrise and sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, and the gentle fall of snow on a winter day.
Learn to keep your wants simple and refuse to be controlled by the likes and dislikes of others.”

Happy Half Birthday to Me.

In six months from today, this girl will be 19.
Not very exciting.
So, to help me through the sorrow,
I bought a music album
That comforts me quite a bit.

"Every bridge that you keep on burning,
every leaf that you keep on turning,
every road that you find uncertain,
I'll pray for you now.
Baby that you'll figure it out.

Every hope and dream that's dying,
every time that i see you crying,
every step that you keep on climbing,
I'll pray for you now.
Baby that you'll figure it out.
As you keep chasing the light."

Album: Young Love
Artist: Mat Kearny
Song: Chasing the Light

I highly recommend this.
Especially if you like your male singers to have a sexy baritone voice.
Mmmmm. So good.
